Charles Mbui - Managing Director

Mr Charles K Mbui brings to the organisation over 20 years experience of marketing and general management gained at various organizations both locally and abroad. His immediate position before this appointment was at Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA) where he held the position of  General Manager sales and marketing. He previously worked for Mastermind Tobacco (K) Ltd in Uganda as General Manager in charge of Uganda operations, Sudan and Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Other companies he previously worked for include ; -

Caltex Oil (K) Ltd as Sales Manager and Pan Africa insurance company  as marketing executive. He holds a B,Com degree in marketing from Nairobi University,  Marketing Diploma ,Business Management – PG Degree from University of South Africa and MBA from New Port University..

Lameck B. Ogembo - Finance & Administration Manager

Mr. Ogembo has a wealth of experience in Finance and Business Administration matters. He was previously the corporate Finance Manager Africa online (Ghana and Uganda operations). He has also worked as Managing Director and group Chief Finance officer, AITEC Kenya Ltd and the General Manager AAR credit Services (Tanzania) Ltd. He is a holder of CPA(K) and is currently pursuing MBA course

Francis Muthamia -  Head of Trading
Mr. Muthamia, a Bsc Degree (Hons) holder from Jomo Kennyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, has 9 Years experience in Tea Manufacturing both in K.T.D.A, Sri Lanka and India where he was attached for Orthodox and Green Teas. Previously he was the Factory Unit Manager - Mataara Tea Factory.

Mercy Mbogori - Assistant Manager Human Resources & Administration

Mercy is a Bachelor of Education (Hons) graduate from Kenyatta University and holds a postgraduate Higher Diploma in Human Resources Management, she is currently pursuing an MBA course in Human Resource at Kenya Methodist University. She has over 12 years experience in Human Resources and Administration Management and has a vast experience in Warehousing , Freight Forwarding and Warehousing staff training related matters. Prior to joining the organization she was previously working with Windsor Golf & Country Club as an Assistant Manager Human Resources & Administration Department. She is in charge of the organizations Human Resources & Administration Department.

Christine Aburi - Assistant Manager Warehouse
Christine is currently pursuing an MBA degree at the University of Nairobi. She is a Bachelor of Education graduate from Kenyatta University and a holder of a post graduate diploma in Clearing, Warehousing and Practical Freight Forwarding DCWF (Bandari College). Prior to joining the organization, she was working with KTDA Ltd as a Trainee Factory Manager and Shipping Officer in charge of exports logistics at the Sales Marketing Dept. She has a well over 8 years of practical experience in warehousing and freight handling operations. She is in charge of the organization warehouse department.

Michael Mwakio - Assistant Manager Shipping
Michael is a BA (Economics) graduate from Egerton University and holds a post graduate diploma in Clearing, Warehousing and Practical Freight Forwarding DCWF (Bandari College). Prior to joining Chai W. Ltd, he was the Shipping Manager at Consolidated (Msa) Ltd. He has well over 7 years experience practical experience in freight forwarding and warehouse operations. He is in charge of the organizations freight forwarding dept.

Jane Gichohi - Assistant Manager ICT
Jane she's  currently pursing Bachelor of Computer Science Degree at Kenya Methodist University, she holds a Higher National Diploma in computer and Network Engineering (Mombasa Polytechnic), Diploma in computer science, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and she is also a certified listed installer of structured cabling certified by Siemon Company. Prior joining CWL she was with KTDA Ltd as a programmer and previously as an ICT Consultant / Trainer with Eureka Trainers and Consultant. She has well over 10 years experience in ICT operations and takes charge of the Company’s ICT infrastructure.

George Okoyo - Trading Manager

A Bachelor Science graduate from the University of Egerton. Currently pursuing MBA  course at the University of Nairobi. With more than 10 years experience in Tea Trading having worked with various tea companies in different capacities i.e. Fin Tea Ltd, Chacha Tea Ltd (Trading Manager) and Gokal Trading Kenya Ltd-(branch of J V Gokal Overseas) as Senior Tea Executive before joining Chai Trading Company Ltd In 2006 as a Trading Executive.

Leonard Muite - Senior Accountant - Freight Division
Leonard is current pursuing an MBA Degree at the U.O.N.. He is a Bsc. International Business Admin graduate (USIU) and CPA (K). Prior to joining the organization, he was working with KTDA Ltd as a Management Trainee and previously with Mindsmith Technology Ltd on the same capacity. He has a vast experience in Freight Logistics Accounting and is in charge of the organizations Finance Department.
