A wholly owned subsidiary of Kenya Tea Development Agency-KTDA (Holdings).  Established in Dubai in the year 2008 to market & sell Kenya Teas to customers /buyers in the Gulf region, and the Middle East. The office is based at DMCC Tea Centre at Jebel Ali Free Zone south.

 

Apart from selling & marketing Kenya teas, Chai Trading DMCC also offers contract packaging services for own label/private label tea packaging, explores strategic partnership opportunities  and actively involved in value addition initiatives- recently introduced own brand of Pure Kenya Tea -Chaigold into UAE market for sale through Choithrams & Sons Supermarkets.
Mr. George Okoyo (Trading Manager) is in charge of the operations of the Dubai office. He represents the entire KTDA Group i.e. Chai Trading Co Ltd, Kenya Tea Packers (KETEPA) and the Sales & Marketing Division of KTDA (Holdings).
