Mercy Mbogori
Mercy Holds an MBA Degree from Kenya Methodist University ,a Bachelor of Education (Hons) graduate from Kenyatta University and holds a postgraduate Higher Diploma in Human Resources Management . She has over 12 years experience in Human Resources and Administration Management and has a vast experience in Warehousing , Freight Forwarding and Warehousing staff training related matters.
Prior to joining the organization she was previously working with Windsor Golf & Country Club as an Assistant Manager Human Resources & Administration Department. She is in charge of the organizations Human Resources & Administration Department.
George Okoyo
A Bachelor Science graduate from the University of Egerton. Currently pursuing MBA course at the University of Nairobi.
With more than 10 years experience in Tea Trading having worked with various tea companies in different capacities i.e. Fin Tea Ltd, Chacha Tea Ltd (Trading Manager) and Gokal Trading Kenya Ltd-(branch of J V Gokal Overseas) as Senior Tea Executive before joining Chai Trading Company Ltd In 2006 as a Trading Executive.
Dr. Simon G. Gikang’a (PhD) - Managing Director
Dr. Simon G. Gikang’a has over 30 years practical experience in the commercial trading, freight forwarding and logistics industries holding senior management positions in various organizations. He holds a PhD in Business Administration from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), MBA degree in strategic management from the University of Nairobi and a B com - Marketing (Hons) degree from the University of Nairobi. He is a holder of the Advanced Management Program (AMP) from Strathmore Business School, (SBS), Lagos Business School and IESE Business School, Barcelona Spain, designed to propel executive lead to global Arena. He is also a member of the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM).
He is also a holder of a post graduate diploma in Clearing, Warehousing and Practical Forwarding DCWF (Bandari College - Kenya Ports Authority), certificates in Logistics Management and Warehouse Operations & Designs (Logistics Centre - University Campus Cranefield - UK) and FIATA (Zurich - Switzerland ) certificate of competence in freight forwarding. Prior to his current job position, he was the General Manager - Freight Division of Chai Trading Company Limited and before then he was the Operations Manager at Mitchell Cotts Freight K. Ltd and prior to that he was working with Afrofreight Forwarders Ltd as the Resident Representative based in Dar-es- salaam Tanzania. He has been a Director of East Africa Tea Trade Association (EATTA) and is the immediate past chairman of the Tea Warehousing Association.
Samuel Charo
Mr. Charo has a wealth of experience in Finance. He was previously a Senior Accountant at KTDA head office and has worked with Unilever Kenya Limited in various capacities.
He is a holder of BSc (Moi University), MBA (United States International University) and CPA(K)”.
